Shih-Nin Low is the Chief Executive Officer of RGA Global Reinsurance Company Limited, Taiwan Branch, and Managing Director, Southeast Asia Markets (encompassing Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam) for RGA Reinsurance Company Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. He is responsible for driving the Taiwan branch’s strategic growth and development, as well as RGA’s growth in the Southeast Asia region.

With more than 20 years of experience in the life insurance industry, Shih-Nin, who came to RGA in 2011, brings a significant depth of knowledge and leadership background to his current roles. Shih-Nin served at Nan Shan Life Insurance Company, Ltd., the Taiwan-based operation of American International Group (AIG), for nearly 13 years, where he held several leadership positions in actuarial, operations, marketing and distribution functions. Before joining Nan Shan, Shih-Nin held actuarial and management roles for AIA Group Limited, both in its Malaysia office and in its Hong Kong home office.

Shih-Nin received his Bachelor of Economics degree with a major in Actuarial Studies from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), a Fellow of the Actuarial Institute of the Republic of China (FAIRC), and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
